This technology is a smarter control system for multiphase power converters — devices that efficiently step down or convert voltage to power processors, servers, and other electronics. Normally, the controller fires each power phase one at a time in a tidy sequence. When it detects a sudden spike in power demand, it breaks that rule and fires multiple non-adjacent phases simultaneously, overlapping their operation to deliver current faster than conventional sequencing would allow.
