What Prosim logs, and why

• The text of the description or survey answers you submit to Match.
• An approximate location, at city level only, derived on our server from the network request.
• Which matched technologies you open from your results page.
• Basic timing (when the query ran and how long it took).

• No accounts, names, or email addresses.
• No precise or device location — we never ask your browser for GPS.
• No raw IP addresses. IPs are used momentarily to derive a city and a rate-limit fingerprint, then discarded; only an irreversible hash is stored.
• No third-party analytics, advertising scripts, fingerprinting, or session recording.

Prosim exists to connect Virginia operators with licensable Virginia Tech technology. Aggregated query themes, click-throughs, and coarse geography are shared with Virginia Tech as portfolio demand intelligence — which problems people are bringing, and where in the Commonwealth they are coming from.

Match queries and click records are automatically deleted 24 months after they are recorded. Nothing older is retained.
