Soft-start trajectory controller for LLC resonant converters

This technology is a smarter way to start up a type of power converter called an LLC resonant converter, which is widely used in electronics to efficiently step voltage up or down. The problem with these converters is that turning them on from a cold start can send damaging electrical spikes through the circuit. This invention avoids that by watching the current in the circuit in real time and adjusting the switching speed automatically to keep current within a safe band, rather than using a fixed startup sequence. The result is a controlled, stress-free startup that balances speed and safety, and the converter then transitions seamlessly into normal operation.
