This technology is a smarter way to build power converters — the electronic components that transform one voltage level into another. It uses two converters working together: their inputs are wired in series (stacked) while their outputs are combined in parallel, and an intelligent controller decides how to run each converter based on the actual input and output voltages at any moment. When the input voltage is high and the output is low, the controller runs the first converter above its natural resonant frequency; when input is low and output is high, it runs below resonance. This adaptive approach allows the system to maintain high efficiency across a much wider range of operating conditions than conventional single-converter designs.
